1963 Obtained Real Estate Representative Licence.
1964 Obtained Real Estate Broker Licence and started Ruth Mabee Real Estate.
....Opened office in Schomberg.
1966 Opened office in Tottenham.
....First female Broker in Simcoe County with her own Brokerage.
1973 obtained FRI designation through courses at York University.
....Highest designation in Real Estate at that time.
1977 Elected as a Director of York Region Real Estate Board (YRREB).
1978 became Chairperson of MLS Committee at YRREB.
....was responsible for implementation of MLS Computer Book of all Listings within Board Boundaries.
....This weekly publication was used by YRREB Members until MLS System migrated to Toronto Real Estate Board.
1979 purchased Domain Realty and renamed as Ruth Mabee Real Estate gaining a second Real Estate office in Tottenham.
....also purchased Domain Travel and renamed as Mabee Travel.
1980 elected as Director of Tottenham Chamber of Commerce.
....started a Trade Fair to showcase local businesses(which ran for 24 Years).
1981 purchased Real Estate Company in Alliston gaining a Real Estate office there.
1985 elected President of Tottenham Chamber of Commerce.
....negotiated and completed purchase of CN Rail Line from Tottenham to Beeton for the Chamber.
1986 as President of Tottenham Chamber of Commerce began the implementation of creating a steam train tourist attraction for the area.
....arranged with CN Rail to bring 2 Steam Engines (1057 and 136), a Diesel engine and 22 pieces of rolling stock to Tottenham.
....(South Simcoe Heritage Railway draws approximately 40,000 tourists to Tottenham annually.)

1990 received Private Pilots Licence in Cessna 172 at Base Borden (64 years of age).
1991 received "Citizen of Year" award.
1993 Director with Alliston & District Big Sisters.
1995 asked by Marion Boyd (Attorney General of Ontario) to join "Advisory Panel of Women in Business and Industry".
1999-2003 Public Member of "Council of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario".
2004 Retired after 40 Years in Real Estate.
